The motivation and namesake for Katie's Spa is
Katie Kirkpatrick-Godwin. Katie was a special individual who continued to be an inspiration throughout her three-year battle with brain cancer. Through it all, she continued to help others, and this spirit was reflected in the outpouring of love and generosity from the community.

Katie's Wings was founded to provide assistance for individuals who are undergoing treatment for illnesses such as cancer. These individuals need special care and understanding to help them through difficult times.
